Boy Scouts of America, Tuscarora Council: Wayne County United Way Scout leadership makes independent decisions, reflective of the community, and funding needs.

Our programs such as Scouting and Learning For Life address specific needs important to building the community.

• 450 of Boy Scouts earned a combined 1219 Merit Badges.
• 49% of Boy Scouts identified characteristics of good citizenship and community volunteerism by advancing in rank and completing service projects.
• 97% of Boy Scouts earned a Merit Badge by completing approximately 60 hours through developing new skills in career and hobby fields to earn a merit badge.
