The association positively impacts individuals by changing their lives through service delivery emphasizing continuous improvement impacting the well-being of our community.

Our Education & Outreach and Advanced Classroom Management programs provide highly trained people dedicated to providing mental health services and education in a friendly environment to help personal challenges.

• 86% (78) of teachers reported using positive, proactive strategies in their classroom as a result of Advanced Classroom Management program.
• 85% (77) of teachers reported gaining confidence in dealing with difficult students and therefore are reporting an acceptable level of stress in dealing with classroom management of students.
• Over 500 students in Wayne County received information and gained knowledge about mood disorders through the Mental Health Association’s Education and Outreach program.
