The association is committed to building positive relationships and open communication between youth and parents.

Our programs include Youth Development, Parenting Skills, Drug Prevention & Education and Outreach & Prevention positively impacting our youth and community.

• 81% of students in Wayne County that were involved in Wayne Uplift Association’s Drug Prevention & Education program gained and demonstrated knowledge in the difference between helpful and harmful drugs.
• 87% (651) of families gained knowledge of outreach and prevention services.
• 92% (65) of parents who enrolled in parent skills training classes successfully demonstrated mastery of 10 or more effective parenting skills through role play in the Parent Skills program.
• 87% (38) of students improved at least a letter grade on academic skill levels through the Youth Development program.
