Accessibility is the first measure of an effective social service system. If people don’t know how or where to find services they need . . . they can’t get help. Where To Turn is designed to collect and coordinate information on agencies, organizations and programs in one directory for use by social workers, case managers, and other professionals, as well as the general public.

Human care agencies are always changing, new agencies are created and existing ones cease to exist. This presents a considerable challenge when creating a directory. Over 250 agencies and programs are included in this edition. The inclusion of an agency or program does not constitute an endorsement nor does omission imply disapproval. Since this Directory is printed bi-annually, the United Way does not assume responsibility for errors or omissions.
